Welcome to Jurassic Tacos — your gateway to authentic Mexican flavors right here in Utah. People's Choice at Utah Taco Fest in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2023, plus the Taco & Margarita Fest — we're committed to delivering the true taste of Mexico in every bite.
The herd

We hit the road in food trucks first — popping up at weddings, corporate lunches, fairs, and late-night events across the Wasatch Front. The lines kept growing. So did we. Today Jurassic Tacos runs restaurants across Utah County and Salt Lake County, plus a full-time catering and taco-truck operation for events statewide.

2017
Family always came first
The Jurassic Tacos brand evolved tremendously from food carts, trailers, and trucks — now strongly pushing into brick and mortar stores. Family has continued to be woven into the fabric of our business.
2020
Between struggle and blessings
In 2020, the concept consisted mainly of catering trucks and outdoor gatherings and events. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to improve our mobile food services.
2020
Time to grow, time to risk to win!
That didn't stop Jurassic Tacos from making a bold move and opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Since then, Fernando and the team have not looked back.
2022
Consolidate is the word
Summer of 2022 we created a licensing agreement that allowed raving fans and investors to help expand the brand — stepping in and buying rights to operate as partners in Jurassic Tacos franchises.
Future
Sky is the limit!
It has been an amazing journey, but we know this is only the beginning. So much to do, many friends to meet, more partners to welcome — and above it all, so many smiles to be sparked with tacos.
