Food truck rentals in Utah generally range from $1,500 to $4,500 depending on guest count, menu, hours of service, and travel distance. Most operators, including Jurassic Tacos, price by guaranteed guest count with a minimum spend rather than a flat rental fee.
Lead time
Book at least 6–8 weeks in advance for weekday events and 3–6 months in advance for Saturdays between May and October. Wedding weekends in Utah Valley and the Wasatch Back fill first.
Site requirements
A food truck typically needs a level surface roughly 10x30 feet, overhead clearance of at least 12 feet, and vehicle access to the setup location. Most trucks are self-contained with onboard generators and water, but some venues restrict generator use — confirm this with your venue and share the answer with your caterer.
Permits and insurance
